We manufacture and fit made-to-order quality tipping curtainsides tarpaulins for many leading transport companies all around New Zealand.
Tauranga Canvas has extensive experience in the manufacture and fitting of chipliner curtainsides for all types of rigid truck and trailer units. We offer fast and efficient fabrication of Tarpaulins using industry leading equipment. We can supply covers to any given measurements and can fit new or retrofit Tarpaulins to all existing units.
- Heavy duty 900gsm Polymar imported direct from Germany.
- Two ply curtains with deck flaps welded together to give minimal stretch
- Chipliner curtains are double skinned to give added protection thus increasing the life and durability of the curtains
- 3 x lateral straps are used to prevent bulging
- Quality stainless steel buckles are placed at 400mm spacings to offer extra strength
- Each curtain is manufactured to meet LTSA load restraint requirements
- Tauranga Canvas curtains are rated to 3,450kg per metre
- Quality stainless steel tensioners
- All webbing straps are inside the skins to give a clean finish external look
- Aluminium luffgroove poles and cast alloy base plugs
- 5 year Load Restraint rating plate
- Labelled with our job number, date and fabric colour for easy recognition for replacement parts as require
- A variety colours available (See our Colour Swatch for our extensive colour range)
- Six styles of track designed to be used in conjunction with Tauranga Canvas pelmet
- Elliptical rollover systems available manufactured from top quality 680gsm PVC in a variety of colours
- Custom stenciling if required
- We can arrange specialised sign written, digital printed curtainsiders and clear coating
If it is a tarpaulin you are after, then this can be done by simply printing off a tarpaulin plan from our Plan section.
From there simply measure and email through for a quote or manufacture.

To make it simple for you to measure your Curtainside or Stockcrate cover, we have plans available for you to download. Fill out the plan and either fax or email back to us.
